About the Thief
My name is Christi. I started my calligraphy journey at the beginning of 2018 during a bad time in my life and really needed an outlet. I am actually a full-time nurse. Being a calligrapher was not a life long passion but it sure has a strong hold on me and I definitely can’t let it go. I am also married with three young kids at home. There’s also a dog somewhere in there. I’m a very busy woman, but I knew I found something I was meant to do when I am willing to set aside time for it.
I started to do work for commission in 2019. This ranged from small projects like, “Can you write my name?” to big projects like, “Will you write on this wall?” I am always up for a challenge and love being able to take your vision and bring it to life.

a little background on the day i got caught…
I was having lunch one day with my friend and we happened to be eating at T.G.I. Friday’s. Our waiter happened to be a cousin to the guy she was dating at the time. We all had a good time and when our checks came, the pen he gave me to sign the check was so nice! So doing what I always did when I found a pretty pen, I pocketed it. Well, then I get a call from my girl a couple weeks later. She says, “I went to my boyfriend’s family event and ran into his cousin that was our waiter. The only thing he talked about was how ‘MY FRIEND’ stole his pen!” Needless to say, my thievery embarrassed the crap out of her at a very big family function. So since I got caught, I have been in recovery….ish.
